Asphalt Milling & Surface Prep
Legacy Infrastructure Services performs precision milling and structural asphalt rehabilitation in accordance with GDOT specifications and Superpave mix requirements.
Our milling operations restore design grade, correct cross slope, and remove distressed surface layers while preserving structural base integrity. Depth control is verified throughout production to ensure uniform removal and proper tie-ins at transitions, bridges, and drainage structures.
We do not treat milling as demolition. It is a calibrated structural correction process that prepares the pavement system for engineered overlays.
Following milling, we place Superpave asphalt mixes in strict accordance with GDOT density and compaction requirements. Our crews monitor rolling patterns, temperature windows, and lift thickness to achieve required in-place density and long-term structural performance.
